The American military just keeps improving since 'Hope n Change' took over, doesn't it?

First thing that had to be done was there weren't enough women ground forces fighting on the front line.

Still not super powered enough though. What was required, of course, was more gay people.

Even with the pink brigade improvements can still need to be made, I guess.

Apparently what is wanted for peak efficiency now is more Brothers in charge.

Hey, has anybody else noticed how the generals who were in charge, pre-HopenChange, back when America had the world's most feared fighting force, have been incrementally disappearing over the years? An no, it's not natural attrition.

The Military would never have an old boys club, nor would WP Grads stick together like glue. Nah, never would happen.

Has anybody thought that maybe blacks don't want to be in the Military? I guess not because even during Vietnam when blacks made up 11% of America's population only 12.9% of the military was black and that included all the draftees which, if you had listened to the media back then was only made up of poor blacks.

Before I got out of the military they were going to get more Natives, women and minorities into the military. Well our fearless leaders found out that without the draft or conscription you can't make people join your military just so the numbers reflect the diversification you want.

So, before anybody goes off the rails about the lack of blacks in command positions the fact remains that they're a much smaller number of military personnel than white folks especially in the officers corps which may account for the small numbers in leadership positions.

But, like everything else the "affirmative action" crowd will take over and unqualified or alot less competent people will be put in command positions because of racial diversity which will eventually cost lives.

This is the military not General Motors and you don't just build a bad car, you die if your boss is incompetent and colour doesn't matter one bit. They should be picking the best people to lead their troops and they should stop worrying about what colour those people are.

Why the assumption that if they're not white males then they're not qualified?

Who said that?

What I said was that when that special segment of society gets involved in bringing forced Racial Diversity to things like Schools or the Military you lower the threshold to achieve your aim, especially when you have to take the lowest common denominator because that's all that walked through the door and to be honest colour has nothing to do with it.

As a matter of fact, due to a lack of good volunteers, Militaries are lowering their standards to accommodate, white people who aren't properly educated or to be honest, intelligent enough to be in the military, minorities who like the white people aren't properly educated or intelligent enough and all other sundry people in the name of fulfilling their recruiting quota's.

But to claim that Blacks aren't in leadership positions in the numbers some people want is because they're being held back by whitey who is either racist or doesn't think they're intelligent or qualified enough is in most cases blatant crap and the low numbers is probably due more to the fact that there aren't that many in the Military in the first place to warrant the having more in positions of authority.

$1:
Of the 970 second lieutenants commissioned from West Point in 2009, only 72 were black. This year's freshman class of 1,248 cadets had 91 African Americans.
