Yep. For all of the usual bile thrown at Chretian and the Liberals, there is a suspiciously partisan lack of hard question at the CPC track record of procurement such as fixed wing SAR, shipbuilding, Sea King replacement, etc. the usual bs line about the Liberals has long hit its best before date.

Small clarification for posterity: "Updating and Canadianizing" the Norwegian blueprints is costing two-and-a-half times the amount Norway spent on designing and building their 2 ships...the $100M Norwegian figure appears to be their total project cost, not the per unit cost.
