Only 500? Ah well. It's a start. Part of the regular draw process, I would imagine?

I've been told by a Brit that I know who was stationed there, that Suffield is shoulder high with ruminants ... deer, anettelope, elk.

There has also been a bad outbreak of ruminant wasting disease in the eastern and north eastern parts of the province. It's better to thin the herd than let so many suffer and die.

Could be. I know in the articles that I've read, they keep saying that elk were introduced so there would be a grazing herd there. I'm not sure what that would mean then if there are others. In any event, the elk are outta control! 8O
Too bad it's so far.
