Fairly stupid and reckless thing to do, especially at this moment when they have the UCP on the ropes thanks to the "governing" party's total incoherence & incompetence. There's no way the conservative-friendly Alberta media won't use this as an excuse to take the heat off of the UCP, no matter how badly they keep performing.

Nah. Just the Postmedia goons. Like, their former buddy Ezra Levant put a $5000 bounty out on a Canadian doctor yesterday. And because Levant is still mostly one of the team it means it won't receive a single line of coverage at any of the Postmedia entities. Like kind stepping up and protecting fellow like kind, as usual. Just some good ol' boys, intending to do nothing buy harm....

But an opposition MP does something stupid, even as the bodies from the UCP incompetence & malice keep piling up? Our reliable Alberta media is all like.....

Levant freaked out when some doctor tweeted that people are doing the right thing if they postpone holiday activities due to omicron. So he then tweeted himself that he'll pay a $5000 bounty to have the doctor followed and video taken if they aren't wearing a mask or going out during this latest non-existent "lock-down". So, at a minimum, this doctor is going to be tailed by a bunch of creeps trying to provide a gotcha-moment for Levant. It's pure harassment, with the potential for violence depending on the mental & emotional stability of whatever "citizen journalists" are on the case.

Levant deserves jail time for this one. And the doctor should sue him to death for what he's set into motion. Postmedia though? Crickets on this one so far, which should be no surprise to any decent person at all.
