The family friend said Allyson survived an apparent suicide attempt in south Edmonton around 2:30 p.m. Monday and is recovering in hospital with broken bones.

Allyson allegedly tried jumping off a Gateway Boulevard overpass.

Wow, revenge killing your kids used to be pretty well strictly male territory. Women did it for some guy, ie because he didn't want them.

Their mother murdered them and then 'tried' to commit suicide by jumping off the overpass. Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful. This really shook me, firstly, because innocent children were murdered by the one whom they should have been able to trust the most, secondly, because I have a bit of a business connection with the McConnell family. Just great people!


This is a local tradgedy. Millet is only an hour from here, just south of Edmonton. This has been the lead story on all the newscasts since it happened. the childrens funeral is tomorrow.
