Multiplayer is a huge backward step in this game. No dedicated servers is a major fail. With Badcompany 2 coming out, no one will be playing this pathetic game.

They did a very slick advertising campaign on TV. Not surprised really.

More effort there than was put into the crap game they produced for sure.

Only the very worst games get returned by me. This lasted less than 24 hours before it was back on the shelf at EB as a used copy.

Most over hyped and over rated game I've ever seen.
Personally I played it for the single player, I hate playing multiplayer on these games cause they are full of 15 year olds with nothing else to do that start slinging comments at you if your not up to their level of play, the single player was too short, and truthfully the story wasn't that good. I found the Rio level to be near impossable on even the medium setting, like honestly, I don't care who your villian is he's not gonna have upwards of 500 people poping out and shooting at you, plus theres no clearing an area there, they just keep comming. The airport was over the top, while I like that they gave you an option, felt it was a waste of time just to get clipped at the end and really it only pandered to those with a sadistic side.
In my opinion there are plenty of way better shooters out there, the thing I liked about the first few call of duty games was the historical aspect and that you got to play different sides in different levels, they strayed too much from that.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw the Rio level as terrible.

Getting pissed off at a game because it's difficult isn't really fair. Choose a lower difficulty. Also, games 20 years ago were way harder than this game.

I agree with Choban. Most over hyped game I've seen. I think it's the historical aspect I like with the others too....although it's not totally accurate, it's not bad. I don't like the new one and may not even finish playing the single player mode. The online choices stink!

The game wasn't that difficult. I had an easier time on the last level than I did during the Rio slum battles. That's a sign of poor game design, in my opinion.

I didn't find the Rio level that hard. By the time you get to the last level you're better, so they could be equivalent difficulty, but you're faster in the last level than rio.

I don't care for the story line, in fact I think it' lame with too much blah, blah, blah story telling and the airport level is just bizarre for a game. Could have easily been made part of the blah, blah story telling for the same end result. They are not consistent with keyboard controls which should be standard from one series to the next since that's the way they market them. I've been online gaming since COD2 and I can't figure out how to find a server of my choice to play on. It doesn't work with XFire although it tells you they're playing MW2. Steam is there for what?? Yet it must be installed to run the game.
The graphics are good, but you'd expect that with every new generation of game.
