I'll never understand why a civilian beating a civilian would get a year in prison for this, and a cop gets the same sentence.

These people are charged with our safety. An abuse like this should be dealt with much more seriously.

I used to work at Bayfield Mall many years ago. I'm happy to see they haven't changed the training. I remember Barrie coppers as being a rather uncaring lot.
