First the Devil. Next God. What's "left"? The new religion.

Ever seen this one? Stated Goals for Communist Takeover - 1963In 1963 they believed the Communists had an agenda to take over the west from within. The Americans read 45 techniques the Communists would use into their Congressional Record. Again this was back in 1963. Almost all of those 1963 goals are evident in reality as practice now, but # 27 is most relevant to what's happening here. "27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

Read somewhere that someone once did a death count from the Bible. Satan is credited with killing about five people directly. God however is credited with killing uncounted millions, mostly in the Flood, and things like nuking Sodom & Gomorrah and the plagues that were sent to Egypt. Yet according to it's followers God is the good guy and Satan is the bad one. Pretty much how Orwell did it in 1984, where Big Brother with it's hands covered in endless blood was the social saviour but Goldstein, who had only written a book, was the enemy incarnate. Anything involving any of this bronze age delusional bullshit is a complete waste of any thinking person's time and energy.

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog: First the Devil. Next God. What's "left"? The new religion. Even fifty years ago the minions of the left were disillusioned with what they had wrought.... Daltrey/Townshend Daltrey/Townshend: "Won't Get Fooled Again"
We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again
The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no!
I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky Though I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya?
There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Are now parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no!
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Meet the new boss Same as the old boss

Yeah, don't know about that.
I know this. My church is gone. It's not a church anymore. It's some sort of Progressive cultural center. They still call it the United Church. It just doesn't operate like a church anymore.
I never stopped to count how many people Jesus killed, but I know Stalin and Mao got a few. So I don't know. I guess if it's a competition, they win.
I used to like the Jesus stories. I wonder if what's her name, the new priest at my one-time church knows any of those. Maybe her girlfriend knows a few. I should ask.

Lisa and I used to be members at a United Methodist Church and then one day the Boy Scout Troop was ousted because the BSA didn't endorse and support homosexuality. Another day after that and they had a General Conference in which the words "God" and "Jesus" were expunged from all of their conference documents so that the lesbian feminists who had taken over the church were not offended. After that we left. Because who needs to support a Christian church that has no room for Christ? It's just a leftist social club anymore. Now we belong to a small community church that is adamantly traditional and they adamantly support a traditional Boy Scout Troop. Some people may not like this or approve of it. And they can go fuck themselves.

All religion should be banned from society. Nothing but trouble.

Regina Regina: All religion should be banned from society. Nothing but trouble. Or, all religions should become one and be made mandatory. Either way, the outcome would be the same. ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif)

What should be banned is religion in government in any way shape or form. For instance Ontario allowing a religious exemption for vaccination. The list is long of these sorts of nutbar excuses we give various religions.

And if you're going to exclude religious people from your government then you won't mind if they ask people like me to overthrow it.

So, you're part of that whole dominionist thing, huh?
Secularism =/ atheism. Many people, ie the sane ones, believe in secular government while being religious in their private life. But if their guy in the sky tells them not to vaccinate their children, the state has an interest in that, since it affects everybody. Your guy in the sky tells you to hate the homos, that's your business. You want to do business in society, that's a different matter. And so on.
