Of all the BS climate hysteria posts promoted by the CBC over the years that one might be the BS-iest. And that's a pretty high bar.

Think about that title for a sec.

Current climate is a horror we have never seen before, is it?

OK...

But now try what the CBC will never recommend. Believe your lying eyes.

Is the insinuation in that title correct?

No, don't do that.

Keep an open mind. Check both sides of the question as to how scared we should be of this supposed coming climate apocalypse.

But wait, now Jimmy Hansen and your CBC have me confused. Is your climate apocalypse coming or is it already here? [huh]

NASA scientist?? LOL
I bet Hansen's kids laugh at how their father is "right" all day long.

The clock is ticking for the professional liars. They can dupe the hippie generation but they can not dupe today's kids.

Here's a video response to these claims concerning what an amazing prophet climate activist and data manipulator James Hansen is supposed to be:

Alas, all your protestations won't change the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere. It continues to rise, the temperatures continue to rise. As predicted.

Desertification has been reduced, precipitation has increased, growing seasons are longer, plants are healthier, there's far fewer famines.

Clearly this is a catastrophe.

So climate change is real? If so, man made? But it's just a good thing now?

Tricks Tricks:
So climate change is real?

It always has been real. It was real when the last ice age started and it was real when that ice age peaked and the world started to warm. It was real all the times before that when ice ages waxed and waned.

Our current somewhat warm period is a blessing because the alternative is cold and that means famine for millions of people.

You conveniently ignored the other questions, to answer in the way you knew I didn't intend. You have a nasty habit of acting obtuse, that soon people may just assume that it's not an act.

Is it man made, or at least heavily man influenced?

Is it a good thing? I assume a yes from the last sentence, but I don't want to put words in your mouth.

It wasn't 'convenience' and if you have any intentions about how you want me to answer a question then why ask it at all?

It is not an act. I'm like this in real life, too. A surprise to me in recent days is that the executive leadership at my agency thinks my penchant for zeroing in on specific aspects of different issues is an attribute.

Tricks Tricks:
Is it man made, or at least heavily man influenced?

This is the problem with your questions is that you think I'm supposed to be constrained by your limited options and I am not.

So I do not believe that the current warming cycle is man made because it started long before there was any detectable influence of industrialization on the environment. And even if there is a human impact I do not believe it is driving the trend but I do allow that it may be influencing the trend...although we may be causing cooling, artificial stability, OR warming. We really don't know.

Tricks Tricks:
Is it a good thing? I assume a yes from the last sentence, but I don't want to put words in your mouth.

Yes, the warming that started ~20,000 years ago is a good thing. Unless you prefer for most of Canada to be buried in ice.

Good it was dangerously low. Now it's rising back to normal. Doesn't organic life begin to experience damage below 180 ppm? Wasn't the atmosphere dropping dangerously close to that not so long ago?

Wasn't CO2 at least 3 times what it is today during the time of the dinosaurs? Pretty lush vegetation back then, I heard.

$1:

It does if you're using Obama Administrator, Thom Karl's rewritten climate data or the other land surface organizations' that fell in line with it.

I heard somewhere that the rise for the last twenty years by satellite measurements is still statistically insignificant. And since the dissipation of the 2015-17 super El Nino temperatures are actually dropping.

And yet, you answered no. That's all I was looking for.

Good to know.
