My thoughts are with the families at this time. Three lives ended because some low-life piece of shit wanted something for nothing...

Holy shit - it sounds like something out of a movie - unbelieveable!

Hopefully they catch the scumbag(s) responsible for this.

Since the bodies were found in the ATM vestibule, there should be some camera footage. Were they all herded in there and then shot? I don't think they usually have 4 guys stocking the ATMs.

Smells like an inside job. Getting the drop on four armed guards requires that the attacker was someone they knew or trusted.

My condolences to the families of the three slain guards and I hope the injured guard recovers fully.

Two were by the ATM's, the others were outside. The police found the armoured truck by the security company office.

Speculation time.

I think it may turn out to be based on insider level info. I figure the GPS trackers in those things would be finely tuned to being off route. But if a truck is headed back to the barn then the killers may have been able to spoof it.

Most times I've seen ATMs stocked, it was usually three guys - one in the truck, one carrying the money and one watching his back.

I have to agree with Bart - based on the info at this time - it smells like an inside job.

The suspect knew the guards are trained not to get into a fire fight so their weapons were probably not drawn when he executed them.

Likely they were not drawn because the shit rat that shot them was supposed to be covering their Six at the time, they never saw it coming.
