The measure, which still requires Senate approval, would establish a national Holocaust memorial day, to be observed each year on Yom Ha’Shoah, according to the Hebrew calendar. The bill was introduced by five MPs representing all political parties: Richard Marceau (BQ), Art Eggleton (Lib.), Scott Reid (CA), Scott Brison (PC), and Judy Wasylucia-Leis (NDP).
