Colby James Messer of Victoria made a second appearance in a Denver courtroom Monday. Three other Vancouver Island men are under investigation.

Something odd about this. Any rational person who committed an act as heinous as this likely wouldn't return to the scene of the crime and would usually take extraordinary measures to ensure the American Gov't didn't have a chance to incarcerate him.

So, he's either innocent or, the most self centred, narcissistic person in Canada or, quite possibly the dumbest fuck on the planet.

No matter what though, he's likely going away for a long long time.
