With Canadians eager to fire up the grill this BBQ season, many are discovering the price of some of the most popular meats has skyrocketed in recent months.

    T-Bone with the loin removed was $33.31 kg last weekend, the whole stack of them were marked down 30% and were turning green in the cooler. I think the consumer will have a say in the price.

    I looked at Striploin the other day and I'll be damned if I'm paying $18 for a single steak.

    The simple solution is to buy cheaper cuts of meat and cook them longer over low heat. If you marinate and cook them properly, they are pretty darned close IMHO.

    Okay now you've all done it. It's been 2 weeks sense I had any BBQ but all this talk has made me crave some so once I'm off work off to my favorite BBQ place. Thanks
