Yeah, in 18 years of computer repairs I've seen AN Apple with A virus ONCE. They must be shit.

In almost slightly longer time, I've seen viruses on HP/UX, AIX and AS/400 exactly zero times. In fact, no one has . . . ever!
It's just the numbers; people will compromise systems with the greatest payoff. Most OS/s have their vulnerable spots, just Windows has the most and was the most common out there. People won't target NexT os, because no one uses it. Apple is becoming more popular, so it gets to be a target.
You have to wonder, also, with inexpensive Android-based devices (that work just fine) popping up like mushrooms everywhere that the I-Phone system is destined to be Betamax.
Android isn't the be-all end-all of security either.

Interesting. Since most Apple users eschew anti-virus software then it's the rare Apple user who'd notice a problem to begin with.
My guess is that the incidence of compromised Apple products is far higher than anyone really knows...except for Apple who has a vested interest in promulgating their mythological invincibility to stupid people.
