Details announced in Tuesday's federal budget aimed at delivering guaranteed jobs under the proposed Canada Job Grant shouldn't come as a surprise to the provinces, Employment Minister Jason Kenney told CBC News in an exclusive interview Wednesday.

I read somewhere that this is only for "skill upgrades" for those already employed. Does anyone know the specifics of this?

Nobody knows, since the program is not up and running. Still fighting with the provinces about it. Quebec wants to be able to opt out. This program is what the fuss was about where the Reformacons spent 2 million (?) advertising a program that didn't exist.

We certainly need money put into sills training.
