Blue Jays recall Munenori Kawasaki, place Melky Cabrera on DL

The Toronto Blue Jays have placed outfielder Melky Cabrera on the 15-day disabled list with left knee tendinitis. Cabrera irritated the knee during Thursday night's 7-4 loss to the Red Sox.

It's always tough sending anybody out, but there's something special about this guy. He was so well-liked and loved by this teammates. He'll be back

I'll bet he had no idea it would be so soon!

Glad to see the little guy back. He did a lot to perk up the team when they needed it.
