What do the groundhogs know anyway? Ontario's Wiarton Willie, Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam and Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil all predicted an early spring.

And next year, all the fat rodents that got the forecast wrong this year will once again be given TV time to get it wrong again.

Why do people ask a rodent for a weather forecast that people and computers have trouble with? Bah! Superstitions!
