I had a buddy in Victoria leave a bar after a night of drinking to find his truck stolen. He reported it to the police and didn't give it another thought. The next day we found his truck in the parking lot adjacent to where he "thought" he parked the night before and drove it home. He never did call the police to inform them that he "found" his truck so I'm thinking that it may be still listed as stolen by the Victoria police.
He still has the truck to this day and now lives in NB. My question is how long would police list a vehicle as being stolen before no longer having it listed as stolen? The initial report was made in June of 1984!
As for not entering the garage for two years. Well I have been in this house long enough to be 14 payments away from burning the mortgage and I have been to the other end of my deck twice. Both times to paint it.
I call bullshit.
