Who voted on this?

which ones ? last time i checked the liberals weren't even close in any of the alberta ridings . iggy is dreaming on that one , he has about as much a chance of winning seats in alberta as harper does in montreal .
There are two sides to this play. One is to simply ramp up the support even in truly unwinnable ridings - giving them more votes and thus more subsidy dollars - and hey, maybe donations will build too. The second is the seats themselves.
Edmonton Centre was held by Liberal Anne McLellan for three terms until 2004. With a leader not so feckless as Dion, and a good candidate, it could potentially flip. It only went Conservative in '06, and just barely in that election. It was the loss of McLellan that made it such a large margin in October.
Reaching into antiquity and looking at '93, four Alberta seats went Liberal. At least three were in Edmonton.
Saskatchewan's possibly more fertile ground, though I'm not as familiar with its history.
The interesting thing is that he's so actively courting the region. None of Chretien, Martin, or Dion did anything like what Ignatieff is doing. That's already a big change. But who knows what will happen.
