B.C. man uses cellphone to direct his own rescue at sea

VICTORIA - A Vancouver man, afloat in the Strait of Georgia and clinging to a wooden box, used his cellphone to direct his own rescue last night by tugboat, hovercraft and the Queen of Cowichan ferry.
