Federal dental benefit officially becomes law

The first stage of the Canada Dental Benefit officially became law Thursday night after Bill C-31 passed its final reading in the Senate and received royal assent from Governor General Mary Simon.

Good, it's about time!

IMO an annual dental check-up and cleaning should be available to everyone as part of basic medical service.

I agree. Dental health is a big part of over all health, and it will save money in the long run.

That's already free to me so I'm against them making it free for everybody since that doesn't benefit ME!!!
