From my understanding, the service itself shouldn't be longer than an hour, it's all the pomp and circumstance before and after that will drag it out.
I'm surprised that it is only an hour considering the list of hymns and prayers that are scheduled. It's been a bizarre week of ongoing events and ceremonies not just in the UK but here and everywhere else as well. I doubt we will ever see something like this ever again.
I know I won't be getting up at 3am to watch the service and besides, every news related channel will repeat the entire service repeatedly all day tomorrow.
