Everyone should see where their dinner comes from.
Agree, I'm just not interested in seeing where it comes from when I'm shopping for wall coverings at Home Depot.

Too picky. They sell smokies in the Home Despot parking lot. People should know where they come from, and it's not pretty.
People are all torn up about six (?) horses dying during the Stampede Chuckwagon races, but don't give two shits about the truckloads of horses being slaughtered daily.
Perspective!
I am well aware of how my meat is slaughtered. You want horror? Look into what in the Hot Dog you're eating... or how those delicious formed chicken nuggets are made.
But chicken nuggets . . . yea.
But yeah, Chicken Nuggets... über gross
Even made my own sausage etc. for a while. Hot dogs traditionally are made from scraps, and meat no one wants, like blade or flank. But I'm not surprised if Schinders put 'lips and assholes' in them.

They do. I worked weekends back in my teens making sausages to pay for college.
All the guts and other things brought over on little railroad wagons and tipped into a large steel trough. A truck would then arrive with old unsold bread off supermarket shelves and dumped in with the "meat", wrappings still on. Bags of chemical colouring, flavoring, preservatives and water were then added. The mess was then heated and churned up with massive augers and when "cooked" forced out of one end into a factory to made into sausages.
Never eaten a sausage since.

Deer sausage.... YUMMMMMM!

Best yet was to get a wild pig that are increasingly wandering the forests around here.
They have only one bad day, otherwise they wander and forage as nature intended. As it should be.
