He’s facing civil war if he does so it’s not so easy to do. Britain decided it couldn’t take her even if Pakistan let her go. Look how timid the West is about condemning KSA over Khashoggi and the risk there is predominantly just a financial one.
Pakistan has two grim cultural traditions to combat; from West Asia, radical Islamicism, and from South Asia, misogyny and feudalism. Nowhere would benefit from a socialist revolution more and few places are less likely to get it. Impoverished Christians are not the main problem here.
