Howie Mandel was born in Canada on November 29, 1955. Initially, he was a carpet salesman who later started his own carpet selling business. During an amateur night performance at the Comedy Store club, a producer saw his potential which initiated his stand-up career. He appeared in several movies such as Gremlins and Little Monsters. He also created and produced a children's animated series Bobby's World. Moreover, he already had his own talk show, The Howie Mandel Show. After his talk show got cancelled, he became a frequent stand-up comedian on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This exposure also landed him several television commercials.
In 2005, he became the host of the U.S. version of the game show Deal or No Deal. His proficiency in hosting paves the way to more projects as he is said to acquire another hosting job in the Canadian version of his current game show.
