BIOGRAPHY Keanu Reeves (Keanu says his his first name means "Cool Breeze Over The Mountains in Hawaiian) Was born to an English Mother and a Chinese-Hawaiian father in Beirut, Lebanon in 1964. Keanu has lived in many places, but as a teen he came to Canada And took up Citizenship.Keanu attended Jesse Ketchum Public School in Toronto from kindergarten through the eighth grade, and attended four high schools (including De La Salle College and the Toronto School for the Performing Arts) before he dropped out at 17 years old to persue acting.Keanu also studdied with Second City Improv group. Keanu's first paying show was Canadian. Since then he has played many characters, With many styles. Most of his parts now seem to be Action like his part in the Matrix, or Speed. Keanu also plays bass guitar in a pop/folk band called Dogstar. Dogstar has 3 cd's out. Quattro Fromaggi, Our little Visionary and Happy Ending. Unfortunately Quattro Fromaggi and Our Little Visionary are out of print but they can be found if you spend a little time looking. The newest one, Happy Ending, Was out on July 11, 2000.

Keanu keeps his personal life out of the media as much as possible. Comment's of a personal nature seem to never appear in interviews, So turly personal things such as if he has a girlfriend are hard to dig up. Many fans are dissapointed by this, but they still love him anyway! He has claimed however that his carreer leaves him no time for a personal relationship. He also admits to never reading fan mail, He feels his time is limited and that it would take his free time away from family and friends. Keanu is a very busy guy.

This busy guy does try to make time for his hobbies, Which include Hockey (he is an avid hockey fan!) and motorcycles. Keanu has had a few wipeouts on his bikes and has many scars that you may have noticed, he loves to drive his bikes fast. Keanu also enjoys music and literature.
