"Mustofa Mousavi, a 21 year old security guard who lives around the corner, says he had a gun pulled on him in the same parking lot three months ago."

Sense of entitlement to be criminals without any consequence anymore, BLM saying skin colour equals an exemption from the law, police in retreat everywhere, increasingly hot temperatures forecast. Yup. Gonna be one of the more memorable summers in North American cities in recent memory as far as mayhem goes. Burn it. Burn it all.

Maybe that long overdue continent-wide police work action/strike is finally going to happen. Don't like us? Fine. Enjoy life without us as we take the summer off.

Same, Brussels was the last.

Let them burn, and take all the liberals with them.

And conveniently, nobody will have witnessed anything and the cops will be blamed for a lack of enforcement.

Living in a big city is fine, just don't live in a bad neighbourhood

Nope. You can keep your "fantastic views" of concrete and steel. I much prefer the trees and lake view behind my house. My nearest neighbour is about 150m away.

Plus, no andy types out here.

Also, bad neighbourhoods have a tendency to drift over time.

This happened a couple of blocks from me. I have never had any issues though. It's usually bad guys shooting bad guys. I lived here as a kid and only moved back a few years ago. You learn quickly which spots to avoid.

The last few weeks have been particularly bad though, a pregnant woman was killed, the baby survived, A random bullet ended up in a bystander's living room, and now this.

It's a handful of troublemakers though. Statistically, your chances of getting murdered are higher in Regina.

Did you just write all that in your out loud words? Think about that for a minute.

Two murders, near you, and you think people in Regina are more likely to be murdered?

And you moved back there?? 8O

And your quibble is? Regina has a higher murder rate than TO. Just like TO, it will have areas where you are statistically more or less likely to be murdered. IE Regina will have its Jane and Finch area too. However it seems that the recent champ is Thunder Bay.
