An asteroid that may be bigger than any of Egypt’s Great Pyramids passed within five million kilometres of Earth Tuesday night, and a much larger one will pass even closer within the next week.
You may have better luck on 3 Sept. when Asteroid 2015 FP118 makes its appearance shortly after 6 a.m. EDT! It will be larger, faster and closer than Asteroid 2016 NF23 which passed us at 11:38 p.m. EDT Tuesday!

You don't seem to get anything, nor do you add anything useful....
Seriously. You're more pointless than a cordless extension cord. We're trying to have a rational discussion about asteroids and space here, and I don't mean the space between your ears....
It's not as funny as one might think.
Good video. Neil DeGrasse Tyson is always worth watching/listening to. Anyone that says otherwise is either ill-informed, or lacks viable intelligence.

Nope. Right after things like this are detected, their orbits are plotted for the foreseeable future. That might be hundreds of years.
If the next one were a threat, we'd know about it.

Hey Jon Snow, that schtick is getting a touch stale. How about you get creative and change that "oh I get it" lameness up a bit. He's 6, give him a chance.

You and I have had our own scraps and all, but this is one of the better disses I've ever seen around here. +5 rep points if I was still giving them out.
