Few retailitory strikes against Syrian Air Defence batteries should send a clear enough message.

Unlikely we'd be involved, but I hope somebody wouldn't mind writing "For Buffalo 461" on a few of the bombs.

Turkey will likely tolerate it once or twice more then begin a full scale aerial bombardment for a day or two just to prove their point. Kinda amazed they haven't struck at all yet though.

Turkey said Monday it would push NATO to consider Syria’s downing of a Turkish jet as an attack on the whole military alliance. The announcement came on the eve of a meeting by NATO’s governing body to discuss the incident.

Turkey flew an aircraft, which we have yet to determine if it was manned, into Syrian airspace, a nation engaged in a de facto civil war. It was shot down by the Syrians and this is somehow an attack on NATO?? Don't think so Abdul. You provoked them on your own, with an illegal act and were found wanting. You're on your own .......dumbasses.

Arinc said Turkey retained its right to “retaliate” against what he called a “hostile act,” but he added, “We have no intention of going at war with anyone.”

Then why do you continue to violate Syrian Airspace? Seems to me that you're using the same foreign policy a certain German Dictator did to achieve his aims.

Hopefully NATO won't fall for Arinc's bullshit and put every other country in harms way just to further Turkey's political aims in the region.
