Authorities say a two-year-old Florida boy was fatally shot inside a family friend's apartment. The boy's mother says the toddler found a gun and accidentally shot himself.
"PluggyRug" said It sickens me every time this happens. How irresponsible to you have to be to have a loaded gun within the reach of a child?
Yup, pure stupidity. All my guns are double locked in a gun safe, any ammunition is kept also locked in a separate location. Which kinda trumpets the difference between responsible and irresponsible.!
A few days back a 4 year old found Dad's loaded gun and shot his Mom in the face. No charges as Washington State's safe storage laws don't come into place until July. 2019 and they can't even do safe use laws. Of course the next response will be "How do you protect yourself from the Bogeyman if your gun's locked away? You NEED to have it handy and loaded!"

Yeah I know. Gun safety is a no brainer, although that seems to be lost on some idiots.
