Vancouver was planning for summer weather this winter. Algore and David Suzuki promised it would be warmer, didn't they?

LOL Almost every snow storm was underrated by the weather guys so far this year. Vancouver weather is always so unpredictable. Now Europe is freezing over.... what about that Al?

Where's Zipperfish to tell us that climate and weather are separate things? Because, see, we can have the climate causing record warmth when at the same time the weather is causing record cold! So the reason you're so cold is because it's warmer than ever! Got that? ![Drool [drool]](./images/smilies/droolies.GIF)

$1: "If you're taking the bus, don't be surprised if your bus gets terminated before its usual ending point, and you have to get off and walk at some point," said Drew Snider of TransLink. WTF?!? They are telling commuters that even though they paid for a service they might not get it. Yeah, that's an incentive to use transit...

In our defense, the forcast was for rain last night. Moreover, in Vancouver these last few weeks we have gotten more snow than anyone can remember. Add to that we haven't gotten a serious winter in at least a decade so cut us some slack m'kay?

37 plows for the whole lower mainland...25 days of snow...recipe for disaster. And WTF was that last night...it was a freaking snow storm, not rain. Two trees came down at my place, from the weight of ice and snow, one took out my bedroom window...the other my balcony. Fuck this shit...I am Costa Rica bound

Oh the south coast of bc isnt in canada? Damn history books. Get a plough, end of story. Is it better to have the ploughs and not need them? or to need them and not have them? and have everything shut down for a day or two?

People forget the lower mainland is also very hilly...transit and even plows can slide on those hills. You arent in PG anymore?
