This is another example of a manufactured outrage.
Trump put a hold on ALL new regulations and the reporter in this case cherry picked one regulation out of thousands to exploit in order to manipulate public sentiment and to get click revenue.
Looks like it worked.
Why is he putting a hold on all new regulations?
Because this:
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/epa-r ... le/2607124The EPA rushed through a bunch of things that they didn't dare to do before the election and now Trump wants them all carefully reviewed.
It doesn't mean they'll all be rejected but given the haste with which they were created and given the lack of public review or Congressional oversight involved then it's responsible to examine these regulations to make sure they actually do the things they say they'll do.
Note that the EPA normally has a public review and comment period before new regulations are promulgated and the EPA after the election deliberately skipped this step.
