River flood plains are for farms, not for homes.
Yup, we can put part of the blame on the officials who allow development in flood zones but some of it goes on the idiots who buy up these places.
Look dear how pretty it is here, and we can see the river.
What about floods?
The last one was in 1952.

...and then they'll be surprised by the fact that they can't get flood insurance.
