There's a kind of logical fallacy called
Hasty Generalizaion.
I'd like to offer up what I'll call the Prog Corollary to that.' This also relies on making a 'hasty generalization' from an insufficient singular fact, but with this one the fact is always some technicality. It's like "You made a typo, so anything you now say regarding your larger and main point (in fact anything you may say about anything) now becomes false by association with your typo."
Now in this case the girl's point is that being on a Southern Poverty Law Center list carries an unwarranted stigma. She doesn't want to be on such a list. It can even be dangerous to be on one.
She tells us how Progressive nutbar Floyd Corkins walked into the Family Research Council with a pistol, a bag full of Chic-Fil-A sandwiches and the intention of taking the elevator to the top floor where he intended to rub the sandwiches into peoples' faces then shoot them. He got the FRC's name from a Southern Poverty Law Center map of people they disapprove of.
SPLC put Hannah Scherlacher on a list. She was placed on the list for talking to the Family Research Council.
She called SPLC up and asked them to take her off their list. They wouldn't. According to her they were playing word games with her. She was on
A list, but she wasn't on
THE list.
Beave wants to play the same word game. She is on
A list. She is not on
THE list he believed was specific to her complaint. She specifically said Hate List, you see.
Hannah doesn't think this matters. To her SPLC lists are all hate lists. Maajid Nawaz and Ayaan Hirsi Ali are on an
A Southern Poverty Law Center list, but not on
The list. There's a petition to take them off.
https://www.change.org/p/southern-pover ... extremistsThe soul purpose of the SPLC currently seems to be this:

They're pointing at Hannah now. Why? Because the sorts of people who find SPLC credible think guilt by association is a thing. That's why.
In fact the group that gave Beave the distorted idea he's debunked something - the George Soros funded, Right Wing Watch - has branded Vloggers as white racists for just interviewing people they call 'alt-right'.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw1B66efXVEHannah's Scherlacher's complaint is she doesn't want to be on any SPLC hate list. It is a hate list she's on. It serves the same purpose as all SPLC's lists including the one Beave is concerned with. It identifies enemies to the true believers of the Progressive agenda.
If the list really is no big thing why won't they take her off it? Why do they even need it?
Answer that one, Beave. Can't do it can you?
All you can do is continue to beat that single point drum. It's sounding off-beat. You're not even in the right auditorium anymore, Kid.
