I love stories that make me smile, this one is great. Tells you a lot about the dad too, great stuff. Love it. Keep Kanye, Serena and all that other shit off my TV, these are the people we should be watching and learning how to behave from.

It's the little things that count.

/m

Got to agree with you. This dad giving her kid a hug after she threw that ball away gives me a feel good feeling.
Put a nice family on T.V. is far better than all the crap thats out there now.
Mind you, I suppose John and Kate plus 8 probably started out that way...

And since when does "feel good"-tv sell?

The fact that Big Brother is in its 11th season is proof that the opposite is true...

And why I don't watch much T.V.
Reality shows encourage people to act thier worst. I find the majority of them distasteful.

$1:
Steve Monforto made a great grab, catching his first foul ball after years of going to Phillies games. He fist-bumped his buddies, high-fived his three-year-old daughter and then handed her the prize. Big mistake. Little Emily threw the ball over the railing.

Stunned by his toddler's toss Tuesday night, all Pop could do was hug her.

Good for him. Some dads might have yelled at her.

Yaaaaaawwwwnnnnn.
Sure has lost it's meaning, I can't see any viable reason to have them on the Today show.

Like others have said, this is a feel-good story. It shows that there are still dads out there that love the kids no matter what. To see him hug her instead of yell at her was great. Having them on "Today" gives people one more example of how a dad SHOULD react when something like that happens.
