RUEZ RUEZ:
westmanguy westmanguy:
Why isn't there a feasible centre-right political party in British Columbia? It's sad when federal Conservative are voting for the B.C. NDP.

I know, I wish there was a half decent Conservative provincial party. Hopefully after one term with the NDP Campbell will be gone and any damage done by the NDP can be reversed with another Liberal government.

There is, they're called the BC Liberal Party. Whine about the Carbon Tax all you want, but if you want overall Tax Cuts and continued Conservative Fiscal policies the Liberals are the only choice.

It's not whining just because you like it and I don't, and that's not the only reason the Liberals are going to lose the next election but it's one of the biggest.

Do you think we're gonna put up with double carbon taxation?
Ottawa's gonna be coughing it back up to us, and we'll cut income taxes even more.
Whattaya think, Quebec, N&L and Nova Scotia go a lock on resource taxation?
Neither Gordon Campbell nor Carole James are going to miss a chance to shriek about 'double taxation' and Ottawa bash for some brownie points at home.
Just as the BC Libs aren't fool enough to toss away the cash cow of ICBC, the NDP will merely give the carbon tax a new name and pretend they made it go away.
Besides why the hell is anybody whining about a couple cents carbon tax? Big Oil just [b]ripped us off for 15c a litre[/i] with this latest "Ike" gouge. Harper makes a comment and two days later they spread the ripoff to the West Coast.

The biggest greediest multinational corps on the planet just slapped their own bumboy in the face, during an election campaign. They're convinced that you the consumer are so stupid or so intimidated you'll vote him back in so he can suckhole even more!

It ain't the simpletons who'd vote NDP over 2c a litre. It's the loss of supporters like me who've seen Gordo's closed little clique of insiders sell off our heritage for pennies, turn their backs on growth outside the 604 area code, and make decisions that cripple development where development is needed in favour of development where their wealthiest friends can make the most money.

What comment was that?

You make some interesting points but the carbon tax will eventually be 7 cents per liter not 2, and like I've said previously that is only one reason why I will vote NDP until Gordon Campbell is gone.
