Lets just ensure the rules are tightened up to at least keep pace with common sense and accountability. It will take significant time to get the senate abolished and until then, we need to ensure that the free ride in the upper house is turned from a fire hose, to a drizzle from a garden hose.

I doubt that Crusher knows much about Canadian politics, or has read the judges ruling about this case.

Maybe it's time to abolish the Senate.

Why? One Senator who a Judge found to do no wrong, 3 Senators who's expenses are being questioned, one Senator who uses staff for personal errands. Why blame the other 100 Senators who nothing but a good job day in and day out?
