Bodah Bodah:
In prison a lock down is typically the result of the prison system trying to regain control over chaos. I have a feeling there might be more to this story,
Always is more to a story. Actually reliable info about a weapon will get a block / location locked down. Trouble with FED institutions (prisons) as opposed to most jails is that they are a bit more open to inmates inside. So if reliable info about a weapon in Unit one comes up they have to lock down more than unit one since an inmate from one unit could have slipped the weapon to inmates from other units. In a lot of jails there is minimal if any interaction between inmates from other units.
Just because they did not find anything does not mean it was not, or still is not, there. They don't have to smuggle this crap in either. FED inmates get so much stuff allowed behind the walls they can make Zip guns if they are crafty enough, and they have.
