You know I was going to stay out of this thread but I think you just hit a new low so congratulations.

You now rank lower then the crust on the ketchup bottle in my fridge when it comes to doing any remotely interesting or productive in any way.

Zipperfish Zipperfish:
The PMO staff is paid for by the taxpayer, not the Conservative party. So if you are going to out Trudeau for moonlighting on his MP gig, maybe you should do it in such a way that you don't have taxpayer-funded staff moonlighting as partisan political workers.

"The reporter should have a recording"? WTF are you talking about? Did you even read any of the articles?

And finally, despite OTI's protestations to the contrary, people are sick of skullduggery and cynicism by the Conservatives. If they weren't Trudeau would be twisting in the wind right now. But the ploy has apparently backfired.

If a reporter is accusing the PM of being dirty, low blow, ethics burning scumbag safe to say that can apply to the media as well since there's no repercussions in this country for biased media making up shit, because they love or hate someone.

I'm calling bs either way until there's proof and not some " liberal journalists" account of it. To be honest I'm too lazy to go through all of your links of "the PM is the devil," so if there's solid proof spit it out.

Otherwise, gnite hun.... call me

Funny that some of the loudest of the farther right conservatives are a bit shy when it comes to that.

I don't have a problem with that, as long as they don't use the system, if on the other hand they start handing out rep points then it's nothing but a load of chicken shit.....

Zipperfish Zipperfish:

And because the Trudeau story is in the media, it's on the radar of Canadians? What's your point? Why one and not the other?

It's another cynical attack that has blown up in their faces. Rightly so.

You'd like us to believe that the channel has been changed and that the focus is now on how the story got released to the media. You can't be that naive.

bootlegga bootlegga:
No, it most definitely is.

Who mentioned this in the Question Period? The Conservatives. Who does the board member support? The Conservatives. This is ALL deflection by them. The NDP only jumped on it because they thought it might knock some wind out of JT's sails and put them back in second place in the polls.

Both the NDP and Conservatives mentioned it in the House. The board member does not support the conservatives, her spouse does. You keep focusing on the board and their political affiliations yet you ignore that they agreed to pay Justin $20,000....so your bias theory is out the window.

Face it boots....it's a big story. You may see it as a deflection from a story that's not even front page news anymore which is fine, but you cannot deny this is a story worth discussing.

bootlegga bootlegga:
As long as he/she wasn't involved in legislation that affects unions, then no, it isn't.

No, he's just standing with the unions fighting against the union transparency bill. The irony!

bootlegga bootlegga:
Look at your own recent posting history. When the Duffy/Wallin thing exploded, what did you do? Post an article on Mac Harb, then admit you felt that his part in the scandal had been glossed over and you were just 'bringing it to light' for the rest of us. Your own partisanship here is nothing more than a blatant copy of Conservative Party strategy, but hey, whatever.

Because it's a story boots! Tell me how it should work....how long should anyone who supports the Conservative Party to report current news on an existing scandal involving anything remotely Liberal?

1 week? 2 weeks? Never?

My guess is never....even if Harb was mentioned a year from now, you and the rest of the lefties would be crying deflection because crying deflection is just a deflection of your own.

If any Liberal gets caught tomorrow in a corruption scandal, I will ensure to wait 2-3 months before mentioning it. I don't want to worry you and the rest of the Liberals will be crying "deflection".

No it's not. It was a small story. Now that Trudeau's going to give the money back to anyone who wants a refund it's not even a small story any more.

Yep, that makes it all better.

Call the media, let them know the case is closed.
