Space shuttle Columbia broke apart in flames more than 60,000 metres over Texas Saturday morning, killing all seven astronauts just minutes before they were to glide to a landing in Florida. "At this time we have no indication that the mishap was caused by anything or anyone on the ground," NASA said a few hours later.
